Leadership Conference for Academy Ambassador Students

By SANTOS PALOMO & SUSANA AGUIRRE

The Academies of La Joya ISD at Juarez-Lincoln High School continue to develop effective leaders within their academies, school, and community.

Young Leaders' Summit

On January 21, 2016, a group of student ambassadors from both academies at Juarez-Lincoln HS attended the Young Leaders’ Summit held at the Texas State Technical College by the RGV Linking Economic and Academic Development (LEAD) student ambassador teams. In this event, our students learned and experienced different leadership topics and activities to become effective leaders. As a result, the ambassadors at the Juarez-Lincoln High School academies will apply for the RGV LEAD Ambassador Team Challenge in March to become and serve as RGV LEAD Ambassadors. Good luck to our academies ambassadors at Juarez-Lincoln High School!
