On Monday, October 3, 2016, in Juarez-Lincoln High School we manifested our fight against Bullying by wearing blue. We decided to interview Mrs.Martinez (one of the several counselors here) and asked her a few questions.
Bullying can affect you in many ways. You may lose sleep or feel sick. You may want to skip school. You may even be thinking about suicide. If you are feeling hopeless or helpless or know someone that is, please talk to and adult or a school counselor!
Juarez-Lincoln High School welcomed students and parents to their Advanced Placement Information Session this past Thursday. Dozens of students escorted their parents in to the cafeteria with one goal in mind –getting information about AP and Pre-AP course offerings for the 2016-2017 school year.
DECA is a program specifically organized to help and train emerging leaders. Here at Juarez Lincoln H.S. we have built a program that enables young leaders to gain the Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities to be competitive in the business environment.
After continuous planning, Juarez-Lincoln High School (JLHS) participated in LJISD’s initiative called Hour of Code. The purpose was to promote Computer Science Education. This is the second year JLHS has participated.
